It’s hard to find a closed-toe shoe with a narrow, (not chunky) 2 inch heel suitable for practice. This shoe distributes your weight across your entire foot, and the heel is high enough so you don’t feel flat footed but low enough that you can wear them for hours with strain on your calves. These are well made dance shoes, with real leather. I followed the sizing chart on the Ray Rose web site and ordered 2 full sizes smaller (a size 7) than my normal street shoe (a size 9). However the drop down menu (“select size”) stated I should have ordered a size 6.5 (U.S. size 9), but I’m glad I went with my gut and ordered the larger size.
